The Azcue BT Series is a self priming positive displacement pump which has three spindles, one driving and two driven or idle spindles. The BT Series has three spindles rotating inside the  pump which creates sets of moving seals from suction to discharge. These sets of seals form fully enclosed cavities moving axially and softly from inlet to outlet.

This pumping design and construction enables quiet fluid handling without pulsations and turbulence enabling the pump to rotate at high speeds with high reliability.

Applications:

The pump fluid must be clean, lubricating and not corrosive to ferrous metals. They are mainly applied for lube-oil pumping and fuel pumping (diesel oil or fuel oil). Applications in which the BT Series of pumps are regularly used for are:

Viscosities from 2 to 1.500 cSt (mm 2/s)

Main forbidden fluids: water, alcohols, benzol, dilute acids etc.

Driving:

The BT series screw pumps are coupled to flexible coupling and driven normally by electric motors. They can also be driven by petrol, diesel, pneumatic or hydraulic motors. Electrical motors in B5, B3 or V1 execution, IP55 or IP23 protection, according to IEC.

Filters:

The filters are necessary in order to prevent pump damage caused by fluid carrying solid impurities.
