AHS/AHSV

Outline ● Naniwa Pump Mfg. Co., Ltd's twin-geared, high-performance screw pumps were developed for use as cargo oil pumps (AHS/AHSV, with external bearings) and lubricating oil pumps (ALS/ALSV, with internal bearings). Research on high performance and stability resulted in the construction of integral screwshafts (one solid pieces), the most important components of the pump. The screwshafts are machined with an advanced, specially designed five-spindled screw-cutting machine under strict quality control. Features ● Precision pump construction eliminates metal-to-metal contact between the screws and between each screw and the pump casing to ensure high performance and long life. ● All types of liquids can be pumped, including low- and high-viscous liquids (up to 1,000,000 cSt.), non-lubricating liquids and liquids with low flash points. ● Operation is nearly pulsation-free, and vibration and noise levels are low even at high revolutions. ● A good NPSH value ensures high self-priming capabilities and superior stripping performance. ● Selection of the prime mover is easy, because the pump can run at low and high speeds. ● The shaft sealing component is placed in the vacuum side of the pump. A wide variety of shaft sealing devices are available to cope with varying applications and the pumping of different liquids.
