Azcue VM Series (VM, VM-EP, VM-EF, VM-VP):
Close Coupled Vertical Inline Pump
Available with priming pump either air or electric driven
Flow: <1000M³H
Head: 130M
DN: 50-150mm
Temp: < 120°C
The design of the Azcue vertical inline pumps enable its use in applications where there is limited space. Azcue vertical in-line pumps can be assembled on straight pipelines. The inner pump parts (impeller, mechanical seal, wear rings etc.) are easily accessible without any need for the removal of the suction or discharge pipes.
The pump can be constructed with a self priming pump attached which can be driven by air or electric and stopped once priming is complete.
General Applications
Power plants & Irrigation systems
Air conditioning and heating
Cooling systems
Water supply & Clear or lightly charged liquid pumping
Marine
General Service Pump: bilge, ballast, deck wash or fire fighting
Fresh Water and Sea Water cooling of: main engine, auxiliary engine, gear box etc.
Brine circulation and transfer
Water circulation on condensers and fresh water generators
Air conditioning and freezing services
Harbour and shipyard services
Main Pump
Vertical single stage centrifugal pumps, In-Line execution. The pump can be assembled in confined spaces due to the suction and discharge flanges being in-line.
The impeller is mounted 'reversed' with the suction facing upwards. This enables a better balance of the axial forces acting on the pump shaft supporting ball bearings.
Priming Pump
A liquid ring priming pump can be fitted, which has a high suction capacity. It has a compact design for simple maintenance and repair.
Executions
The VM-series of Bombas Azcue Pumps are available in various builds (VM, VM-EP, VM-EF and VM-VP).
This range is constructed with a rigid coupling between the pump and motor. On this range there is also no need to remove the suction or discharge pipes and access to the inner parts are by removing the motor. This is a compact construction that uses the minimum of space.
VM series
No priming pump - vertical inline pump only which requires suction to be flooded
VM-EP
Vertical Inline pump with Automatic Priming Pump which stops once priming is complete. The priming pump is driven via an electric motor.
VM-EF
Identical to VM-EP but with a mechanical purger with float, to avoid discharge of liquid in to atmosphere by the pump during priming.
VM-VP
Priming system by means of venturi ejector driven by air pressure (air operated priming Pump)
