Azcue CM Series: CM, CM-GR, CM-GF, CM-EP, CM-EF and CM-VP Vertical Inline Centrifugal Pump with Spacer Coupling optional integrated air / electric self priming pump
Azcue CM Series: CM, CM-GR, CM-GF, CM-EP, CM-EF and CM-VP
Vertical Inline Centrifugal Pump with Spacer Coupling
optional integrated air / electric self priming pump
Flow: <1500M³H
Head: 130M
DN: 50-250mm
Temp: < 120°C
The Azcue CM Series of Vertical Inline Centrifugal Pumps are designed to be installed in areas where space restrictions exist. These vertical in-line pumps can be assembled on straight pipelines. The inner pump parts (impeller, mechanical seal, wear rings etc.) are easily accessible without the need for the removal of the suction or discharge pipes. Furthermore, the CM series can be dismantled without removing the motor. All that is required to be removed is the cover plate.
General Applications
Power plants
Air conditioning and heating
Cooling systems
Water supply
Irrigation systems
Clear or lightly charged liquid pumping
Marine
General Service Pump: bilge, ballast, deck wash or fire fighting
Fresh Water and Sea Water cooling of: main engine, auxiliary engine, gear box etc.
Brine circulation and transfer
Water circulation on condensers and fresh water generators
Air conditioning and freezing services
Harbour and shipyard services
Main Pump
Vertical single stage centrifugal pumps, In-Line execution. The pump can be assembled in confined spaces due to the suction and discharge flanges being in-line.
The impeller is mounted 'reversed' with the suction facing upwards. This enables a better balance of the axial forces acting on the pump shaft supporting ball bearings.
Priming Pump
A liquid ring priming pump can be fitted, which has a high suction capacity. It has a compact design for simple maintenance and repair.
Executions
The CM-series of Bombas Azcue pumps are available in various builds (CM, CM-GR, CM-GF, CM-EP, CM-EF and CM-VP). They are constructed with a flexible coupling with spacer coupling so that the inner parts (impeller, mechanical seal etc.) can be maintained easily without removing the suction or discharge pipes, nor the electric motor.
This version simplifies maintenance and repair and enables disassembly in a minimum of space. The pump shaft rotates in oversized ball bearings. For severe applications and extreme loads, there is the possibility to supply the unit in 'reinforced' execution (FR), with oversized shaft and ball bearings.
CM Series
No priming pump
CM-GR series
With priming pump and manual control valve with 'priming' and 'run' positions. The priming pump is driven by the main pump shaft and conical gears.
CM-GF series
Identical to CM-GR but with automatic changeover once priming is accomplished.
CM-EP
With Priming Pump and automatic unit stop once priming is complete. The priming pump is driven via an electric motor.
CM-EF
Identical to CM-EP but with a mechanical purger with float, to avoid discharge of liquid to atmosphere by the pump during priming.
CM-VP
Priming system by means of venturi ejector driven by air pressure
